After 1,225 episodes as Bo Brady on “Days of Our Lives,” actor Peter Reckell has departed from the daytime TV staple. Reckell starred on the show from 1983 to 2012, with just a brief break in the late 1980s to star on the prime-time soap “Knots Landing.”
In conjunction with his career move, the soap opera star is making a home move as well. Reckell and his wife, Kelly Moneymaker, listed their environmentally friendly Los Angeles home for $3.995 million.
The solar-powered home utilizes recycled materials in much of the design, including grass cloth walls, recycled glass flooring and a solar-heated infinity pool.
Measuring 3,445 square feet, the 3-bed, 4-bath home sits on a third of an acre backing up to the Santa Monica Mountains Conservatory. The home also includes a recording studio, rooftop office and meditating pond.
