Eastern Kentucky, where Harlan is located, is under a winter storm warning Friday. The city faced single-digit temps with sub-zero wind chills all week, but clearly the police department didn’t let the cold stop them from having a little fun. The Harlan City PD followed up their lighthearted post with an important reminder for residents to “take the precautions you need to keep you, your friends, family, neighbors and pets safe during the snow queen’s mad spell.”
