Sarah Stage, the model who drew social media fame and criticism for her six-pack abs during pregnancy, shared a photo of herself breastfeeding her son on Instagram Friday. And to those who have a problem with the intimate image, the 30-year-old mom of two-month-old James Hunter has a message: “Just unfollow me.”

In the photo, which has been liked more than 51,000 times, Stage is breastfeeding her son while wearing an orange tank top and jeans. In the caption, she writes: “If you don’t like this pic, just unfollow me. No need to hate on a beautiful moment with my son #normalizebreastfeeding.” The picture has received mostly positive support, with messages like “beautiful moment! Nothing beats that connection with your baby!” and “you are doing the best for him and you! Breastfeeding is a blessing! Good for you momma!”

Of course, as with any celebrity photos, there are some detractors. Wrote one user, “No hate, but why post such an intimate moment? I’m sure you wouldn’t post conception or birth either.”

The photo comes two months after Instagram updated their guidelines to specify that “women actively breastfeeding are allowed.” In the past, users have complained that the social media site removed photos of mothers breastfeeding.

Only a few weeks after giving birth, Sarah Stage posed poolside in a bikini. (Photo: Sarah Stage/Instagram)

Despite Stage’s toned abs and tiny bump even late into pregnancy, her son was born at a healthy 8 lbs., 7 oz., Stage announced on Instagram in April. She gained 28 pounds during her pregnancy, she said, within the range of 25 to 35 pound weight gain recommended by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Four days after giving birth, Stage posted her first post-baby body lingerie shot. A few weeks later, she was back to work, posing poolside in a bikini.

But the new mom, who didn’t respond to Yahoo Parenting’s request for comment, certainly seems to consider her job as mom her first priority. She posted a second photo of her very content little guy that was seemingly from the same nursing session as the breastfeeding selfie. The caption read, simply, “he melts my heart.”
