Anonymous Teen Uses Twitter for Good
There are plenty of stories about kids bullying each other on social media, but one Boston-area teen is using Twitter for good.
A high school junior — who chooses to remain anonymous — set up @BrocktonComps, which has one rule: Only nice comments are allowed, CBSBoston reports.

“I noticed that Twitter and Facebook both can be very cruel places most of the time so I just wanted to create a page where people could submit positive comments about people instead of bashing them,” the student says.
One student is called out for bringing “a spark of positivity into my life” and another for being “one of the nicest girls.” The account has more than 650 followers.

"I see who writes the compliments but I never post who writes them. I copy and paste that compliment, post it on Twitter and quote it," the anonymous creator says.
Brockton High School principal Sharon Wolder is thrilled with the idea.

"I love that somebody took something that felt negative to them and turned it into something positive, not only for themselves, but for other kids," she says.
