Zoologist Grabs Close-Up Look as Fiddler Crab Nabs Dinner

Close-up footage captured by a local zoologist, shows a fiddler crab snacking on insects at a beach in Tainan City, Taiwan, using its claw to place the small creatures into its mouth.

Fiddler crabs are an endemic species of Taiwan, and are known for eating algae, fungus and insects.

This footage was captured by Hung-Chang Liu, a Taiwan-based zoologist, who has spent time studying crabs on the Australian territory of Christmas Island.
