MANUEL GUTIERREZ: For me, my goals were, like, I want to be a beauty influencer. I want to have a brand, and, like, I want to have these certain things. Those are the goals that I kind of, like, set for myself. I didn't plan for any of it to happen. I didn't plan to be, like, Manny MUA. Like, that was not a thing.
And then it happened, and It's like, OK, cool. Like, this is happening to me. I want to roll with the punches. I want to, you know, capitalize and do something, like, good, so that's kind of what-- I didn't plan a lot but planned some of it. [LAUGHS]

My normal now is not my normal, like, six years ago. It's a lot of responsibility. It's a lot of-- it's a lot of work.

MANUEL GUTIERREZ: [INAUDIBLE]
For me, like, for a long time on social media, I was living my whole life for social media, and, like, I wasn't living a life outside of it. And I feel like now within the last year has been really, really important for me to learn that. What I do for social media is, like, my job, you know. And I am so grateful for it, and I love it. But it doesn't mean that I'm not allowed to have a real normal life as well.
