New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies announce Friday night starting lineups
The New York Mets open a three-game home series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday night.
First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. at Citi Field. The game will be broadcast on WPIX in New York.
Zach Eflin (1-3, 3.65) will start for Philadelphia, while Carlos Carrasco (4-1, 3.50) will go for New York.
The Mets (29-17) lead the National League East by 7½-game lead over the Phillies (21-24) and the Atlanta Braves (21-24).
