'Yellowstone' Is Getting Another Spinoff Series Called '6666'

From The Pioneer Woman

There’s a lot of Yellowstone love going around!

The Paramount show has been hugely popular—so much so that it’s getting a second series inspired by the original. It was just announced that Yellowstone will have a spinoff called 6666 on Paramount+ and oh my goodness, it’s exciting.

According to Entertainment Weekly, this new iteration will surround the Four Sixes ranch in West Texas. You may be wondering: What is the name all about? According to the official logline provided to TVLine, “The 6666 is where the rule of law and the laws of nature merge in a place where the most dangerous thing one does is the next thing … The 6666 is synonymous with the merciless endeavor to raise the finest horses and livestock in the world, and ultimately where world class cowboys are born and made.”

Ooh, we bet Ladd will enjoy this one!

There isn’t much more info yet, but we do know Taylor Sheridan is the executive producer, and he’s the same person who’s creating Y: 1883. Though Y: 1883 is a prequel that occurs way before the current Duttons, it’s possible that 6666 will have some connection to the original Yellowstone characters. Eek!

“Together, we have been able to build Yellowstone into an immersive universe for audiences globally. And that is what we intend to do with these series as well,” said David Glasser, CEO of 101 Studios. “We will be introducing new characters and story lines alongside world-class talent and creators. We are very much looking forward to bringing these shows to life.”

Same here!
