Leona Lewis is set to marry long-term boyfriend Dennis Jauch in Italy over the next few days.

According to The Sun, the former X Factor winner and the dancer have already travelled over to Europe from California - where they currently live - for the “fairytale” ceremony.

“Leona is madly in love with Dennis and they are both so excited to get hitched this weekend,” a source close to the couple told the publication. “They have flown their nearest and dearest out to Italy for the ceremony and no expense has been spared.

"She has spent months and months making sure everything is perfect for the big day and they have loads of pals coming from the UK as well as the US.

“Because they live in the States, their friends and family don’t all get to meet up much, so it’s going to be a really special day.”

Lewis, 34, and Jauch met in 2010 when the latter worked as one of the Bleeding Love singer’s backup dancer on tour. He has also performed on shows such as Dancing with the Stars and America’s Got Talent. Nowadays, the 30-year-old concentrates more on choreography.

He proposed to Lewis in San Juan, Puerto Rico last year. In June, Lewis enjoyed a luxurious hen do with her eight bridesmaids at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel in Hawaii.

Back in 2013, Lewis told the Metro that when she was younger, she always wanted to get married in her 20s. But when her 20s rolled around, it didn’t quite seem like the right time.

"That was always a weird thing for me,” she said. “I was always like, "I am going to get married in my 20s!’ But now I’m like ‘No, no, no. I’m not ready!'

"I feel like you think you are going to be ready but then you get to your late 20s and you’re not ready."
