WT ROUNDUP: Two Buffs pick up All-American nods at first day of nationals
Day one of the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships went quite well for West Texas A&M as two Buffs picked up All-American honors.

Zada Swoopes did what she seemingly always does and broke her own school record in the hammer throw...twice. Her second throw went 58.35 meters as she picked up fourth in the competition.

Miya, meanwhile, took seventh place in the long jump competition with a distance of 24-9.75.
The competition will run through Saturday.
