World Baseball Classic tickets for first-round games at loanDepot park are on sale now

Tickets for the pool play round of World Baseball Classic games being hosted at Miami’s loanDepot park are on sale now to the general public.

Fans can buy tickets at Marlins.com/WBC.

loanDepot park, home of the Miami Marlins, is serving as a host site in each round of the World Baseball Classic. It’s one of four sites for the opening-round pool play, one of two quarterfinal sites and the location for the semifinals and the final.

As of right now, priority access for tickets to the quarterfinals, semifinals and the final are only available to those enrolled in the Marlins’ 2023 Marlins Members program.

Miami’s pool play games will run from March 11-15 and the first-round field playing in South Florida includes Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Israel, the Dominican Republic and a to-be-determined fifth team. Each team will play each other once, for a total of four games for each team. The top two teams advance to the quarterfinals.

The day-by-day schedule for pool play at loanDepot park is below:

March 11: TBD qualifying team vs Puerto Rico, noon; Dominican Republic vs Venezuela, 7 p.m.

March 12: TBD qualifying team vs Israel, noon; Venezuela vs Puerto Rico, 7 p.m.

March 13: Dominican Republic vs TBD qualifying team, noon; Israel vs Puerto Rico, 7 p.m.

March 14: TBD qualifying team vs Venezuela, noon; Israel vs Dominican Republic, 7 p.m.

March 15: Venezuela vs Israel, noon; Puerto Rico vs Dominican Republic, 7 p.m.

The quarterfinals are March 17 and 18, semifinals March 19 and 20 and the final March 21.
