An exhibit featuring works by the Artists of Group Ten will be displayed at the Summit County Courthouse from Friday through Jan. 21.

The Artists of Group Ten, previously known as Group Ten Gallery, was founded in Kent as an artist-owned collaborative. Ten local artists were initially invited to join and, over the next few years, that number grew to 17.

The gallery was forced to close its physical space because of the pandemic, with the artists then seeking alternative venues to share their works.

The exhibit, which features the works of 14 artists in a variety of mediums, will be on display in the atrium of the courthouse, 209 S. High St., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The exhibit is a continuation of an effort by Summit County Probate Court to bring art into the courthouse as a respite for employees and visitors.
