Woman dies in fiery Titusville car crash

A woman lost control of her vehicle and died in a "fiery traffic crash" in Titusville early Saturday morning, police said.

The woman, who was the only occupant of the 2018 Chevrolet Corvette, was driving east on Park Lane when she lost control of her car and hit a tree on the west side of the street at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Titusville police said.

The car became "engulfed in flames," police said. No other vehicles were involved, and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not release any identifying information about the woman.
