White Flakes Mix With Autumn Leaves as Early Season Snow Falls in Michigan

Snowflakes sprinkled down over Michigan as the National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed the first snowfall of the season on October 7.

The NWS said the first snowfall was observed just before 8 am on Friday. Reports from Marquette, Michigan, said there had been sightings of occasional snow showers since Thursday evening.
