Where to find Valentine's Day specials at 19 Knoxville restaurants and bars

Valentine's Day is a great time to make your partner feel special, and there's nothing like a classic romantic dinner and drinks to set that mood.

Fortunately, several restaurants in and around Knoxville have Valentine's Day dinners and drinks already planned. All that's left is for you to choose!

Knox News has compiled a list of 14 restaurants and bars with Valentine's Day specials and holiday-themed courses.

RT Lodge

RT Lodge, one of Maryville's fine dining experiences, is accepting reservations for its Valentine's Day four-course dinner.

At $135 per person plus tax, the dinner starts with cream of mushroom soup or beet and citrus salad, then pan-roasted duck breast or lobster, followed by an entrée of red wine-braised beef short rib or Gulf grouper and finally a dessert choice of Black Forest gateau or baked Alaska.

RT Lodge also offers an overnight weekend package for Feb. 11 and 12 with dinner and breakfast included. The weekend costs $565 plus tax for couples. Look for more details on its website rtlodge.com.

BRAVO! Italian Kitchen

BRAVO! Italian Kitchen has a Valentine's dinner for two with dine-in or to-go options.

At $59.99, the dinner includes a choice of chopped or Caesar salad, choice of entrée among lobster and shrimp fettuccine, pasta bravo, chicken caprese or grilled salmon fresca and one caramel mascarpone cheesecake adorned with a chocolate heart to share.

The Melting Pot

Located in Knoxville's Old City, The Melting Pot is a great Valentine's Day date night spot. It has extended hours for the romantic holiday from noon to 11 p.m. at the 111 N. Central St. location.

The Melting Pot offers a four-course Valentine's Day dinner comprised of cheese fondue, salad, entrées with a choice between Lover's Delight and Cupid's Feast before ending with chocolate fondue.

There's also plenty of options for two including the Complete Experience and Big Night Out Dinners, both of which are four-course dinners. You can make reservations online at meltingpot.com.

J.C. Holdway

The fine dining experience of J.C. Holdway at 501 Union Ave. is hosting a prepaid, reservation-only Valentine's Day dinner from 5 to 9 p.m.

At $95 per person before tax, drinks and tip, the dinner is a four-course meal featuring salad, shrimp and beef tenderloin. Wine pairings are optional and added after dinner.

Reservations must be made online on Resy and are nonrefundable.

Fleming's Steakhouse

The Fleming's Steakhouse in Knoxville is hosting a three-course Valentine's Day dinner for two.

There's the Surf and Turf for two with a shareable 35-ounce prime tomahawk paired with lobster tail scampi and crab-stuffed shrimp for $230. The other option is the filet mignon menu with either lobster tail scampi or crab-stuffed shrimp for $85 per person. Both options come with choice of salad and dessert.

The Valentine's Day menu is only available between Feb. 10 and 14. The full dinner menu also is available.

Peter Kern Library

Not your typical bar, Peter Kern Library is a great way to impress your Valentine's Day date by taking them to the historic Knoxville speakeasy.

Located in the alley behind the Oliver Hotel, Peter Kern Library has a full cocktail menu that'll make anyone feel important. There's even a food menu if you decide to eat there.

You'll just need to dress nicely and find the passcode to get in, but don't tell the doorman who sent you.

The Listening Room

A new venue in Pigeon Forge called The Listening Room will be open on Valentine's Day.

The bar and grill will have two holiday offers. One is a romance package for $25, which includes chocolate-covered strawberries and two glasses of bubbles or rosé. The second is live music starting at 6 p.m. with Gabby Patrice and Friends and then at 8:30 p.m. featuring Troy Catellano and Friends.

Osteria Stella and Brother Wolf

Back in the Old City, the Italian restaurant Osteria Stella and its neighbor Brother Wolf is a prime Valentine's Day date option.

Brother Wolf is an aperitivo (premeal) bar, so it's the perfect first stop before your dinner plans, especially if you have a reservation for Osteria Stella. It serves cocktails, beer and wine among other spirits. It doesn't require a reservation.

Osteria Stella will have reservations exclusive for Valentine's Day, along with a special menu. The menu for the romantic holiday includes oysters and caviar, stuffed squash blossoms, tuna crudo, ravioli al uovo, rose de parma and chocolate baba, each paired with a wine. Reservations can be made online at resy.com.

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is offering a Valentine's Week dinner for two at its Knoxville location, available Feb. 10-19.

The dinner includes a choice of two starters, a chateaubriand for two featuring a 22-ounce roasted tenderloin with Cognac sauce, sides of garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach, chocolate sin cake for dessert and wine pairings for the meal.

The meal costs $160 for two and reservations can be made online at ruthschris.com.

Carrabba's Italian Grill

The restaurant chain Carrabba's Italian Grill is offer wine and dinner on Feb. 7 with such dishes as linguini pescatore and filet Bryan.

At 6:30 p.m., guests will be seated to a four-course dinner with wine pairings throughout the meal. It costs $70 per person before tax and tip. Reservations can be made online at carrabbas.com.

The Fresh Market

For at home fine dining, The Fresh Market has several options and recipes to cook a meal and impress your partner.

You can order through its Valentine's Day page at thefreshmarket.com/valentinesday. It includes a sweetheart ribeye, stilton raspberry prosecco and milk chocolate roses as a few available options, along with tips and instructions. You can even order flowers!

Oliver Royale

In another section of the Oliver Hotel, Oliver Royale is a fine dining establishment at 5 Market Square. It's hosting a Valentine's Day dinner.

The four-course dinner comes with champagne toast and dessert. The dinner costs $129 per guest before tax and tip, with a $50 deposit per guest when reservations are made.

Reservations can be made online or by calling the restaurant at 865-622-6434. The available dinner times are between 4 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Volunteer Princess Yacht Cruises

With a cruise around Knoxville, Volunteer Princess Yacht Cruises has dinners planned all through Valentine's weekend from Feb. 11-14.

Dinner is at a private table with a rose during the cruise with a menu including a grape, basil and brie skewer with balsamic reduction, a garden salad, a dual entrée of beef tenderloin and chicken cordon bleu with dijon cream sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans and a chocolate torte with berry compote.

Feb. 11 and 12 have a brunch option as well at $45.95. The dinners are either $89.95 or $99.95 per person based on whether the dinner is on the two-hour cruise or the two-and-a-half-hour cruise. Reservations can be made online at volunteerprincess.com.

Lonesome Dove

Lonesome Dove at 100 N. Central St. has a special menu for Valentine's Day.

The first course has four options including deviled Gulf Coast blue crab cakes with Lonesome Dove hot sauce. The second course has four options including shrimp bisque, crème fraiche, Conecuh sausage and corn salad. The main course has eight options including the reef and beef for two. There are four sides to choose from and finally three dessert options.

Nama Sushi

For Valentine's Day, every Nama Sushi location in Knoxville will have a menu specific to its location.

For the downtown location at 506 S. Gay St., the menu is a three-course meal with an appetizer and dessert. The starter is a tartare sampler, followed by the first dish of smoked hamachi sashimi, then the second course of meatball trio, with the main course being the surf and turf roll and the dessert an ube sweet potato mousse. The total price is $80, with an additional $35 for the optional wine pairings.

This menu is available to order from on the weekend before Valentine's Day and the holiday itself. Reservations can be made by calling the downtown restaurant at 865-633-8539.

For the Bearden location, the specific menu includes oysters and two special rolls: Heart of Pistachio roll and Love Island roll. Reservations can be made by calling 865-588-9811.

For the Cedar Bluff location, the specific menu items includes Crispy Calamari, Sushi by the Bae and Korean Roasted Pork Shoulder. Reservations can be made by calling 865-500-6262.

Harvest Downtown and Bearden

A special six-course Valentine's Day menu is available on Feb. 13 at the downtown Harvest restaurant at 141 S. Gay St.

The courses each have cute names. The "Meet Cute" features "love shuck" oysters, "Getting Comfortable" features seared sea scallops, "Settling In" features stuffed quail breast, "All Warmed Up" features rabbit loin roulade, "Peak Performance" features reverse seared venison leg and "Sweet Finish" is a red velvet mousse bite. In total, it costs $125 per person.

Seating is at 6 p.m. and the first course starts at 6:30 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 865-544-1491.

Along with the pre-Valentine's Day dinner, both the Harvest at 5200 Kingston Pike and the location downtown will have a Valentine's Day menu available from Feb. 10 through Feb. 18. It includes creamy lobster with butternut ravioli, Bolivian stuffed trout, filet crab oscar style, love shuck oysters and raspberry white chocolate mousse.

Koyo

Located at 416 Clinch Ave., Koyo is offering a Loire Valley Gal-entine's Day Wine Dinner on Feb. 13.

The dinner features a five-course meal with five wine pairings. The main three courses feature seabass ceviche, rabbit tandori and spicy duck somen noodles.

Arrival starts at 6 p.m. with the first course beginning at 6:30 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling the restaurant at 865-253-7400 or online at opentable.com.

KoPita Authentic Mediterranean

KoPita Authentic Mediterranean has a Valentine's Day dinner with six courses.

The meal begins with a salad, followed by a choice of potato, onion or leek soup. The next course is ocean fish caught wild served Moroccan style. Next, roasted cabbage with tahini sauce is served followed by a choice between lamb chops with frike or filet mignon with potato gratin. Finally, dessert is knaffe with Moroccan mint tea.

The meal is $50 per person. Reservations can be made by calling 865-249-8823 or at kopitarestaurants.com.

Saloon 16

Although it doesn't have a dinner planned, Saloon 16 has several Valentine's Day offerings at its 1706 Cumberland Ave. spot.

On Valentine's Day weekend from Feb. 10-12, bottles of rosè and Champagne are half off, and there's a $5 Cupid's Arrow mimosa available during Sunday's brunch. On Valentine's Day, there will be themed trivia along with the half-price bottles, bourbon or mimosa flights and charcuterie boards.
