Ah, February. The month of love, football and groundhogs.

The second month of the year always seems to come and go in the blink of an eye. Maybe it’s because of all the stuff you surely have marked on your calendar, like Valentine’s Day dates or Super Bowl parties. Regardless, thanks to all of the month’s happenings there are tons of sales going on.

But first, a quick note on what to avoid.

Hold off on shopping for a new warm weather-ready look for now. Surely you’ll be seeing new clothes hit the racks in the coming weeks, but they’ll be at the steepest prices. Additionally, keep from investing in luggage at the moment. Travel necessities usually go on sale closer to summer, and until then, you’ll be spending way more than you like.

Back to the fun stuff: You’ll see major price drops for everything from televisions to winter outerwear to mattresses this month, so get your checklists out and start shopping!
