West Salem grad Anthony Gould honored as Pac-12's top returner for Oregon State Beavers

West Salem grad Anthony Gould has had a stellar season for Oregon State’s football team, and now he’s getting recognition for it.

Gould was honored by Pro Football Focus on Wednesday as a first-team all-Pac-12 return specialist.

Gould has had 14 punt returns for 260 yards and two touchdowns this season, as well as one kick return for 22 yards.

Gould has missed the past two games due to injury.

Oregon State is 9-3 and ranked No. 16 in the AP poll. The Beavers are also No. 16 in the Coaches poll and No. 15 in the College Football Playoff rankings.

Oregon State, which finished 6-3 in Pac-12 play after beating rival No. 15 Oregon on Saturday, will learn their bowl destination Sunday.
