— Go ice-skating: Ice on the Landing, the temporary ice rink at the Chattanooga Choo Choo, 1400 Market St., is set to close Jan. 30, meaning this is your last week to practice your Salchow, Lutz and Axel jumps. Hours are 2-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 2-11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and noon-9 p.m. Sunday. Adults pay $12 on weekends (beginning at 6 p.m. Friday) and $10 on weekdays. Children 12 and younger get in for $8 every day. Weather can affect conditions, so check iceonthelanding.com before you go.
