Week 7 football roundup: Louisville rallies to defeat Green in final minute

Louisville 27, Green 23

LOUISVILLE — Will Ramsey's 5-yard touchdown run with 48 seconds remaining gave the host Leopards their first lead since the opening quarter and their second win of the season.

Ramsey's TD completed a nine-play, 77-yard drive by Louisville (2-5).

The Leopards, trailing 23-14 after three quarters, also scored in the final period on an 8-yard pass from Charlie Roberts and Jacob Davide with 9:24 remaining. Seth Colley's PAT kick made it 23-21 in favor of Green.

Davide, who had 112 yards, led a Louisville rushing attack that finished with 191 yards. Roberts (16 for 61) also scored a rushing TD and he completed 10-of-18 passes for 119 yards and two TDs, to Davide and Brandon Jackson.

Springfield Local 41, Waterloo 14

ATWATER — Ryan Carcelli rushed for 177 yards and one touchdown, and Kolten Ruark passed to Dylan Sheely for two scores to lead Springfield Local past Waterloo in a Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference game.

The Vikings (3-4, 2-2) were led by Jayden Hakin, who rushed 33 times for 156 yards and scored both Waterloo touchdowns. His first score, a 30-yard run, closed the Vikings' deficit to 14-7 in the second quarter.

Dante Gentile, though, scored on two third-quarter rushes and the Tigers (3-4, 3-1) returned an interception for a touchdown. Carcelli punctuated his night with an 80-yard scoring run.

Lowellville 41, Sebring 8

Braiden Yeater threw a touchdown pass to Jahvian Cundiff for the Trojans' (0-7, 0-4 MVAC) only touchdown.

Lowellville's (7-0, 4-0) Vinny Ballone threw four touchdown passes.

Sebring plays host to Mineral Ridge next Friday.
