Wearable bean bags allow wearers to ‘totally let go anytime, anywhere’

Wearable bean bags that allow buyers to “totally let go anytime, anywhere” have gone viral.

The bean bags, which have gained popularity on Japanese social media, were developed by Taikou Sewing, an Okazaki City company that specializes in bed cushions.

According to Shogo Takikawa, a representative for the company, the onion-shaped bean bags are intended to promote relaxation.

The concept was born out of the idea of a cushion that would allow you to totally let go, anytime, anywhere. You can put this on and chill out in your living room or loads of other places. That’s why we created it.

In a video, two buyers demonstrate wearing the bean bangs while doing daily routines such as working or napping.

“It makes you a little heavy around the middle,” one user said. “But, it’s good fun.”

“It was lighter than I thought, and it’s warm,” another buyer said. “I think, in winter, you’d feel pretty toasty after putting this on.”
