All Ways Caring Home Care officially opens with ribbon cutting

CHILLICOTHE —The Chillicothe branch of All Ways Caring Home Care held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday to celebrate its grand opening.

Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Mike Throne welcomed All Ways Caring to Chillicothe.

"It's good to see good quality healthcare coming to the area," said Throne.

Branch manager Chase Thurber cut the ribbon and said that they are excited to be able to serve the community. He believes they have a "big opportunity with the VA to be able to help veterans."

The Chillicothe VA Medical Center is less than 10 miles from the All Ways Caring office, which is located is located at 74 N Plaza Blvd.

All Ways Caring Home has over 170 branches nationwide, but the Chillicothe office is the only one listed on their website as being in Ohio.

The company offers at-home care for people of all ages and needs. They offer short-term and life-long care to people who want to stay in their homes while still receiving expert care.

Among the services it offers are:

  • Medication preparation and adherence monitoring

  • Managing daily schedules

  • Grocery shopping

  • Providing or arranging transportation

  • Ambulatory assistance

  • Housework

  • Laundry

  • Managing communications (phone, mail, etc.)

The ceremony took place the same as that the Chamber gave its annual forecast to the community. Throne noted during the forecast that 20 new businesses opened in downtown Chillicothe and three businesses closed in the past year.

All Ways Caring is one of several businesses that have either opened or announced openings recently, such as Realistar Real Estate and The Image.

The current Ross County unemployment rate is 3.5%, according to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
