Watch: Wyatt Teller uses spin move to combat spin move

The Cleveland Browns have an elite offensive line that has been cobbled together over the past few years. Joel Bitonio has been a mainstay at left guard while J.C. Tretter was brought in a few years ago and, since, had his contract extended. Jack Conklin and Jedrick Wills were brought in during the 2020 offseason while Wyatt Teller was a late trade addition in 2019.

Teller, specifically, has been surprisingly impressive for the Browns. While the other four linemen have had significant resources used on them (draft picks, salary cap space or both), Teller came relatively cheaply.

That likely changes this offseason when he becomes a free agent. In 2020, Teller was one of the best guards in the entire NFL. So far in 2021, he continues that same path. This block is a unique one but impressive:

Blocking the very talented Jarran Reed, Teller matched spin move with a spin move to give Baker Mayfield a chance to gain some yards on a scramble. While he gave up a pressure here, his recovery prevented a sack. The feel and skill needed to do this in such a short space and time is only able to be appreciated fully in video form:

Getting beat on a spin but stopping that same pass rusher with his own spin move, Wyatt Teller continues to impress at right guard.
