The Texas baseball team will be the No. 5 seed in the Big 12 tournament Wednesday through Sunday, May 25 through 29 at Globe Life Field in Arlington.
No. 22 Texas (39-17, 14-10) saw an up-and-down season in the Big 12 during the 2022 NCAA baseball regular season.
The Longhorns' non-conference record during the regular season was 25-7.

In 2021, Texas went 50-17 overall, including 17-7 in the Big 12. After exiting that year's Big 12 baseball tournament with a 5-4 loss in the semifinals to Oklahoma State, the Longhorns tore through the Austin regional and super regional, advancing to the 2021 College World Series.
In the 2021 CWS, Texas exited one game shy of the finals via a 4-3 loss to Mississippi State June 26.
Last weekend, the Longhorns ended the 2022 regular season with a three-game series sweep against Kansas.
