Watch: Tavon Austin goes up and snags Jags first touchdown vs. Falcons

The Jacksonville Jaguars found themselves in a familiar place in the second-half of Week 12’s game: down by multiple touchdowns. However, they found a bit of a spark late in the third quarter and the offense marched down the field through a nine-play, 72-yard drive that ended with a Tavon Austin touchdown reception.

The drive was one where James Robinson got the team going early in the process with multiple positive carries. Then at the end of it, Trevor Lawrence was able to make two solid completions, one of which went to James O’Shaughnessy to set up the aforementioned touchdown pass to Austin in the back of the end zone.

After the touchdown, Lawrence connected with O’Shaughnessy again for a two-point conversion and that put the score at 21-11.

The Jags were able to have a little bit of success on the drive that followed as they put Matthew Wright in position to make a 34-yard field goal and bring it within seven with just under seven minutes left.

With the game within it’s closing minutes, maybe the team can have more luck to pull off a comeback upset after being down 21-3.
