Penn State may have some concerns to address with their rushing attack after this weekend’s game against Villanova, but Sean Clifford continues to leave his mark through the air. After three long touchdowns in the game, Clifford took a more conventional approach for his fourth touchdown pass of the game.

Clifford’s fourth touchdown pass of the game came on a 23-yard pass to Parker Washington. It was the second time the two connected on a touchdown pass in the game.

This marks the third time in Clifford’s career he passed for four touchdowns in a single game. Before his day was done early in the fourth quarter, Clifford also passed the 400-yard mark. That made Clifford the second passer in school history to pass for 400 yards in a single game.

Clifford unofficially ended his day with 401 yards and four touchdowns. Washington had five catches for 148 yards with the two touchdowns.
