If you're looking for a relaxing video that's also an excellent primer on just how a racing motorcycle pieces together, you've come to the right place. This short time lapse from Red Bull shows two KTM mechanics quietly breathing life into a RC 250 R, the bike used for MotoGP's feeder series, The Rookies Cup.

The video is about as mellow as a glass of scotch, showcasing these simple, elegant, purpose-built machines in their every detail. We watch every tidy piece come together without a hitch, and fantasize about a well-lit garage stocked with orderly tool cabinets. The mechanics make their requisite energy drink pit stops along the way, then light the thing off until the bike's exhaust glows orange from the heat.

Altogether, the video is a deeply satisfying primer on bike assembly, as much as its some odd form of visual therapy; seeing a complex machine built from its constituent parts is zenlike. Watch the full video on MotoGP's Facebook feed, or check out this post on reddit.
