Watch candidate forums in Thousand Oaks for council, supervisor seats

With the November election just over a month away, candidates for Thousand Oaks City Council and the District 2 Board of Supervisors seat took part in a pair of forums Wednesday night in Thousand Oaks.

You can watch video from both events here.

The event was co-sponsored by The Star and League of Women Voters of Ventura County. Both forums were held at the Scherr Forum Theatre at Thousand Oaks City Hall. The league's David Maron moderated.

The first event, for the District 2 supervisors seat, featured candidates Jeff Gorell and Claudia Bill-de la Peña. Star reporter Kathleen Wilson asked questions.

For the second forum, all 10 City Council candidates took the stage and answered questions from Star reporters Dawn Megli and Mike Harris and from audience members. Voters will choose three candidates when they cast ballots.
