LAWRENCE — Kansas men’s basketball will face Texas on Monday at home in what’ll be the first game between the two Big 12 Conference teams this season.

The Jayhawks (18-5, 6-4 in Big 12) are coming into the game after a loss on the road against Iowa State. The Longhorns (19-4, 8-2 in Big 12) are coming into the game after a win on the road against Kansas State.

The Jayhawks will look to protect home court. The Longhorns will look to do something they came so close to doing last season and win inside Allen Fieldhouse. Kansas can do a lot for its chances in the Big 12 regular season title race with a win here.
