We start at the World Athletics Championships and Dina Asher-Smith’s incredible win in the 200 metres last night. The 23-year-old became the first British woman to win a sprint event at a a major competition.

Not everyone was able to experience the joy that Asher-Smith was last night though. Especially Omar McLeod of Jamaica. The hurdler looked in a good position for a medal in the 110 metres hurdles final, but stumbled and fell, leading to his disqualification for leaving his lane.

To football, and Liverpool were 4-3 winners over Red Bull Salzburg in a dramatic Champions League clash at Anfield.

After the game Jurgen Klopp said he wasn’t angry with his players for letting a three goal lead slip in the game.

The Argentinian hasn’t scored in his first four games in all competitions this campaign, and the Barcelona attacker feels that he hasn’t found his rhythm yet.
