Watch highlights from Rams’ back-and-forth win vs. Chargers

Saturday night was the Bryce Perkins Show at SoFi Stadium. He was the only Rams quarterback to take the field against the Chargers, with Matthew Stafford, John Wolford and Luis Perez all getting the night off.

Perkins took advantage of the extended look in the preseason opener, leading the Rams to a 29-22 win. He played a part in three of the team’s four touchdowns, throwing for two scores and rushing for one, too.

Lance McCutcheon might’ve been the star of the night, however. The undrafted rookie receiver caught five passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns, the first of which was a 60-yard bomb that he caught over a defender.

The defense was a mixed bag of good and bad plays, but it came up when the Rams needed a stop most late in the fourth quarter.

If you missed the back-and-forth game, which featured two lead changes and three ties, check out 10 minutes of highlights below.
