Want to touch a snake? Here’s 5 things to do in the Myrtle Beach area
There are more events happening along the Grand Strand later this week and into the weekend.
Here’s a list of activities tourists and locals can enjoy during Bike Week.
1. The Market at Charlie’s Place in Myrtle Beach
The free event is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. I will feature Charlie’s Place tenants and other vendors. The market is every third Saturday of the month.
2. Music in the Park in Surfside Beach
Concertgoers can listen to live music every Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Memorial Park at the corner of Surfside Drive And Willow Drive.
3. Snakes and Reptiles at Huntington Beach State Park
Park visitors will get to learn the animals and get the chance to touch them. The event will be 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets must be purchased at the park store beforehand
4. Blues Traveler
The New Jersey-based band will perform at The Carolina Opry Theater Sunday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. They havehad more than 3,000 live shows.
5. NMB Beach Community Band
The group will present the 7th Annual Pops In The Park, a free concert in the Sandhills Bank Amphitheater at the sports complex in North Myrtle Beach. The event starts at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket.
