Vote for the Lebanon Athletes of the Week - Jan. 10-15

The Lebanon Athletes of the Week contest is back.

To review, each week three boys and three girls will be nominated and you'll be able to vote for your favorites in an online poll that will typically open on Monday or Tuesday and wrap up on Thursday at 5 p.m.

Congratulations to last week's winners, Kailah Correa and Nate Diaz of Lebanon

So without further delay here are this week's nominees:

Boys

Fernando Marquez, Cedar Crest basketbaall

Marquez helped the Falcons to a 3-0 week, scoring in double figures in all three games, including an 11-point contribution to the key win over Lebanon on Saturday.

Corey Attivo, Elco basketball

Attivo averaged 20.0 points in two games, and pumped in a game-high 25 points in a loss to Manheim Central on Friday.

Aaron Seidel, Northern Lebanon wrestling

Seidel, a freshman, picked up three wins at 106 in the Virginia Duals, including the lone Viking win in a 70-6 loss to New Kent.

Girls

Mallory Deiderick, Cedar Crest basketball

Deiderick pumped in a team-high 17 points to help the Falcons cool off Lebanon with a 44-37 win on Friday night.

Claire Hoover, Annville-Cleona

Hoover scored a game-high 13 points and hit 7-of-8 free throw tries to lead A-C to a 35-25 victory over previously unbeaten Lancaster Country Day.

Aliza Shirk, Northern Lebanon bowling

Shirk was a major bright spot in a 7-0 loss to Cocalico, rolling a 715 series that included a 258 in the third game.
