It’s something lots of people across the world do to get ready for the day.

But it’s not often you see a three-year-old enthusiastically repeating positive affirmations on their way to school.

Good job really, since videos of Ayaan getting ready for his day nearly broke the internet after going viral on social media.

The video of Ayaan repeating: “I am smart. I am bless. I can do anything” on his walk to school - complete with a banana in hand - have been viewed millions of times on Instagram and Twitter and shared across the world.

Posting the video on Instagram, Ayaan’s mum Alissa told how she had taught him the affirmation on his second birthday last year in the hope one day he would use it but was shocked when he started repeating it on their way to school.

“I taught Ayaan this positive affirmation on his second birthday last year, in hopes that he would one day memorize it, understand it and use it as a motivational tool whenever he needed it,” she said.

“Well, he shocked me this morning. Out of nowhere he started repeating it, so I pulled out my phone. He ended (with enthusiasm lol) once we made it to our destination. So proud of the little boy he is growing into.”

The video has been shared across the world on both Twitter and Instagram, including by journalist Yashar Ali who wrote: “That’s it, I’m having kids.”

Even late US senator John McCain’s daughter Meghan McCain joined in, saying: “This child is everything”.
