Verizon is giving free Disney+ subscriptions to new and existing 4G LTE and 5G unlimited wireless customers

Happily ever after: If you're on Verizon (or willing to join it), you most likely just snagged a free 12-month Disney+ subscription.

Verizon — which is the parent company of Verizon Media, which owns AOL — announced Tuesday that all new and existing 4G LTE and 5G unlimited wireless customers are eligible for a yearlong membership to Disney's new streaming service. Also eligible are new Verizon Fios Home Internet and 5G Home Internet customers. You can enroll by logging into your Verizon account online or through the My Verizon app.

Normal subscribers will pay $6.99 a month, or $69.99 a year, for the same Disney+ access. That amount still comes out lower than other competing subscription service fees. (If you're not on Verizon but still want to sign up, you can do it here.)

The offer launches Tuesday, Nov. 12, as Disney+ goes live with its massive haul of brand-new content and existing fan favorites. New "Star Wars" and Marvel series are on deck, and classic animated films spanning decades will be in no short supply. (The list is so long, that 12-month subscription may only allow fans to scratch the surface.)

Although much of the content is G-rated, the expansive library is designed to appeal to family members of all ages.

Once activated, subscribers will be able to watch Disney+ content on their cellphones and various TV devices, including gaming consoles and streaming players. According to a press release, Verizon will be the only wireless carrier making the offer.

In introducing the partnership, Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg also indicated that Verizon is working closely with Disney to integrate 5G technology into its amusement parks.
