Golden Knights tie it with 0.3 seconds left against Predators, win in OT
In a last ditch effort, Vegas Golden Knights winger Max Pacioretty sent the puck to the net as quickly as he could in Nashville — it ended up being the deciding factor to clinch two points against the Predators at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night.
Down 3-2 late in the third, the Vegas forward was served a beautiful backhand pass from teammate Mark Stone. Pacioretty swung at it like a madman and ended up scoring his ninth of the season with just 0.3 seconds remaining in regulation.

Not even the many Nashville defenders — sliding in an attempt to help goaltender Juuse Saros stop the puck — could get there in time to keep the win for themselves.
With momentum on their side, the Golden Knights were able to put this game to bed with a deciding two-on-none rush involving Nate Schmidt and Paul Statsny.

In just two minutes, Vegas went from likely leaving Nashville without any points earned to taking the majority — even if it meant giving the Predators their single loser point.
Stone, Pacioretty, and Rielly Smith all finished this one with a goal and an assist while Malcolm Subban was able to stop 30 of 33 shots to keep his team within striking distance.
The Golden Knights are now 12-11-4 on the season.
