Vanessa Bryant gives first look at Kobe Bryant's new novel, titled 'Geese Are Never Swans'

The late Kobe Bryant will release a novel in July. Bryant partnered with psychologist Eva Clark to work on a young adult novel titled “Geese Are Never Swans.”
Vanessa Bryant shared a preview of the novel on Instagram on Thursday. She called it “one of my favorite novels created by my husband.”
The novel will follow Olympic hopeful swimmer Gus Bennett, who will have to overcome “tough issues” to win. Vanessa Bryant says the story “perfectly highlights the healing nature that lies within sports.” The novel is set to be released July 21.
The novel will be released through Bryant’s multimedia content company, Granity Studios. The company also worked on the short film “Dear Basketball,” which earned Bryant an Oscar in 2018.
