Vanderbilt football adds commitment from three-star DL Bradley Mann

After losing three defensive linemen to the transfer portal in the past month, Vanderbilt landed a commitment at the position in Bradley Mann, a three-star recruit who had offers from Indiana, Louisville and Pitt among others.

Mann announced his decision via Twitter on Wednesday.

Mann, who attends the Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida, committed the day after coach Clark Lea attended his school's practice ahead of the state semifinals.

According to 247Sports, Mann rates out as Vanderbilt's third-ranked 2022 commitment, after edge rusher Darren Agu and linebacker Langston Patterson. The Commodores' class, which has 18 commitments, is ranked 40th nationwide and 14th in the SEC. All four of Vanderbilt's highest-ranked players are defensive players.

At 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds, Mann has the length to develop into a pass rusher, especially as he fills out.

Defensive linemen Marcus Bradley, Terion Sugick and Lorenza Surgers recently entered the transfer portal, making Mann a key piece at a position of need.
