US 127 ramp closed for hours Friday night after semitruck crashes

A Pennsylvania man suffered minor injuries after his semitruck crashed into a guardrail Friday night on an exit ramp from U.S. 127 to Interstate 96 and rolled onto its side.

The Ingham County Sheriff's Office said Saturday in a press release that deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash about 6 p.m. Friday at the ramp from northbound U.S. 127 to I-96.

According to the release, the 67-year-old man lost control on the curve and struck the guardrail. Emergency personnel transported him to a hospital with minor injuries.

According to a release from the Michigan Department of Transportation, the ramp was closed until about 2 a.m. Saturday.
