Hoskin averaged 4.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game last season, starting eight of 13 games. She scored a season-high 14 points in the season opener against Xavier.

In her last game of the season, Hoskin scored 10 points and had 13 rebounds against Oakland.

Detroit Mercy was 1-13 to start last year and the season was shut down by university officials in January amid allegations of emotional abuse from first-year head coach AnnMarie Gilbert.

Hoskin, a Detroit native, spent one season at Detroit Mercy.

Hoskin spent her first collegiate season at Wayne County Community College. There, she earned several major awards including receiving Michigan Community College Athletic Association Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year.

She was also named second team NJCAA All-American, while averaging 22.0 points and 8.4 rebounds.

Hoskin joins four rookie newcomers UND will add to the roster in the fall from the prep ranks. UND's 2021 additions include Jodi Anderson of Circle Pines, Minn., Allie McCarthy of Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Miranda VanderWal of Strathvoy, Ontario and Carlee Sieben of Grafton.

UND entered the offseason with a number of open scholarships, losing four potential starters.

Mikayla Reinke and Julia Fleecs aren't expected back after moving on academically as seniors last season, while junior Jaclyn Jarnot and sophomore Megan Zander decided to enter the transfer portal.

Reserves Lilly Keplin, Emma Anderson and Rachel Garvey are also not expected to return in the fall.
