Ukraines Defence Forces explain when Kinburn Spit may be liberated
The issue of control over the Kinburn Spit can be resolved only when Kherson Oblast is completely liberated, as the separate liberation of the spit is not advisable.

I would like to explain to everyone: the liberation of both the islands and the Kinburn Spit is possible only at the time of the overall liberation of our territories.
Separate liberation of the Kinburn Spit is not entirely appropriate. Why? Because there is open terrain there and the enemy's fire could cause more damage than we would gain by liberating this territory".
Details: As Yerin explained, throwing large numbers of military personnel and assets at the liberation of these separate territories in Kherson Oblast is not commensurate with the goal: it is a matter of long-term perspective.
The colonel said that Kinburn Spit is more under Russian control. However, neither side has permanent control over the islands on the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast.
