Ufotable confirms 'Demon Slayer’ Season 3, reveals two new Hashiras in teaser video
Japanese animation studio Ufotable have confirmed a third season for its popular anime series “Demon Slayer.”
Following the end of Season 2, the studio immediately announced the news via their official Twitter account on Feb. 13 with a visual teaser and video of two new characters in the Swordsmith Village Arc.

“Demon Slayer,” which is based off of the best-selling manga series of the same name, follows the journey of a teenage boy named Tanjiro Kamado, who becomes a demon slayer after his family was murdered and his younger sister was turned into a demon.
In the new season, Tanjiro will travel to the Swordsmith Village to replace his sword, according to the Kimetsu no Yaiba Wiki. In the village, he meets fellow demon slayers Genya Shinazugawa, the Love Hashira, and Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira. The Hashiras are known as the highest ranking warriors in the Demon Slayer Corps.
The studio offered a first look at the Hashiras with a clip posted to Crunchyroll Collection’s official YouTube channel.
While “Demon Slayer” Season 2 is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, the release date for Season 3 and the number of episodes viewers can expect have yet to be announced.
