UFC on ABC 2 bonuses: Mackenzie Dern’s armbar finish earns her $50,000

The UFC handed out four $50,000 bonuses Saturday after UFC on ABC 2 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Performance of the Night: Mackenzie Dern

[autotag]Mackenzie Dern[/autotag] won her fourth consecutive fight after she submitted Nina Nunes with an armbar in the first round of their women's strawweight bout. With the addition of this bonus, Dern has earned an extra $50,000 in each of three of her past four fights – all submissions.

Performance of the Night: Mateusz Gamrot

[autotag]Mateusz Gamrot[/autotag] earned his first $50,000 UFC bonus with a knockout of Scott Holtzman in their lightweight bout. Gamrot put Holtzman away with punches at the 1:22 mark of the second round. It was a rebound of a loss in his UFC debut last October.

Fight of the Night: Julian Marquez vs. Sam Alvey

[autotag]Sam Alvey[/autotag] got put to sleep by [autotag]Julian Marquez[/autotag], who won their middleweight bout with a ruthless second-round rear-naked choke, but he still walks away with an extra $50,000 for his efforts. Marquez and Alvey put on an exciting back-and-forth affair up until the finishing sequence. It's the UFC fight night bonus for both men's careers.
