Two Dead, Three Missing After Boats Collide in Georgia

At least two people were killed and three others were missing after two leisure boats carrying a total of nine people collided on the Wilmington River near Savannah, Georgia, on Saturday, May 28, local media reported.

According to WTOC, Chatham Emergency Services Chief Operations Officer Phil Koster said one boat had six people on board, four of whom were taken to hospital where two died of their injuries. The other two people remained missing, Koster was cited as saying.
