Twitter is crying over the series finale of 'Jane the Virgin'

After five seasons and 100 episodes, Jane the Virgin has come to an end.

Fans loved everything about the finale, including the fact that we found out Jane and Rafael's son Mateo has been the show's narrator all along!

"I practiced with great-grandma. She said I'd be great at voiceover work," said young Mateo at Jane and Rafael's wedding ceremony. The narrator then said, "And for the record, I am."

The narrator's identity wasn't the only thing revealed during the finale. The audience also found out that the show is a telenovela based on Jane's book.

In the final scene, Rafael asked Jane, "What happens at the end of your book?" Jane responded, "They make it into a telenovela." Rafael then said, "Well, who'd want to watch that?"

However, most of the viewers were crying over the fact that their beloved series came to an end, while the rest of the fans took to Twitter to thank the series for five years of laughs and tears.
