Twitter discloses 'state-backed' disinformation campaign against Hong Kong protesters

Twitter detailed an extensive "state-backed" disinformation campaign against the protesters originating from mainland china. In response, twitter is suspending nearly 1,000 accounts it says are attempting to "sow political discord in Hong Kong, including undermining the legitimacy and political protest movement on the ground."
