Turtle Searches for Perfect Diving Perch Before Jumping Into Arizona Lake
A turtle looking for a break from the blazing Arizona heat on July 5 sussed out the perfect diving spot before launching into a lake in Scottsdale’s Chaparral Park.
This footage, recorded by Tom Lancione, shows a turtle crawling across a sidewalk before selecting the ideal spot to enter the water to cool off.
The National Weather Service reported a temperature of 105 degrees Fahrenheit on July 5.
