Turkish Rescue Team Saves Family Members Trapped Under Earthquake Rubble for 58 Hours

A rescue team saved three family members who were trapped under rubble for 58 hours in Nurdagi, Turkey, on Wednesday, February 8, as the combined death toll from Monday’s earthquakes in Turkey and Syria surpassed 11,000.

Footage posted to the General Directorate of Forestry’s Twitter page shows rescue workers pulling individuals from debris and transferring them to a waiting vehicle.

Anadolu Agency, a state-run news agency in Turkey, reported that over 9,000 people were killed and more than 52,000 others injured across the country.
