Girls Soccer

West Shore 6, Satellite 0

In Melbourne, Bree Ehmer scored four goals and had one assist to lead the Wildcats to an impressive victory.

Both teams started the match attacking the goal, but the score was stuck at 0-0 for the first 30 minutes.

Ehmer then scored her first goal of the night with 10 minutes left in the first half.

Aubrey Fortmayer took a shot at the goal and almost got the Scorpions (2-1-0) on the board but Lauren Mannix came up with a big save to keep the Wildcats (3-1-0) ahead. Mannix finished the night with three saves.

In the final two minutes of the half, Catrina Carl found Ehmer for a goal to put the Wildcats up 2-0 at halftime.

After halftime West Shore could not be stopped. Ehmer scored a goal on a penalty kick with 27 minutes left in the game. Four Minutes later she knocked in another goal.

Skye Kohler added another quick goal after she received a pass from Ehmer. Kohler would score once more off a corner kick to make the final score 6-0.

Satellite goalie Chloe Adams finished with five saves. The Scorpions will travel to Eau Gallie for their next match.

The Wildcats will look to extend their winning streak in their next game against Palm Bay.
