BOYS BASKETBALL

KAUKAUNA 87, FOND DU LAC 79

KAUKAUNA - The Ghosts led by 12 points at halftime and held on for the Fox Valley Association win, overcoming a big offensive game by the Cardinals’ Jay Dalton.

Kaukauna was led by Jon O’Neill with 35 points, including 20 in the first half. Amari Allen added 22 points.

Dalton scored 50 points for Fond du Lac, including 32 in the second half. He made seven 3-pointers in the game and was 11-for-16 at the free throw line.

ROSENDALE - The Spartans outscored the Hawks 33-18 in the second half to pull away for the nonconference win.

Molly Johannes scored 25 points to lead Laconia. Tierney Madigan added 17 and Molly Duel scored 11.

Xavier was led by Sammie Buss with 14 points.

WINNECONNE - The Warriors outscored the Wolves 52-11 in the second half to pull away for the East Central Conference win.

Abbie Aalsma made six 3-pointers and scored 26 points to lead Waupun. Gracie Gopalan and Kayl Petersen added 13 points each.

Winneconne was led by Joey Perry and Jamie Wicinsky with five points each.

CHILTON - Addie Zahn scored 16 points and Calli Neuman had 15 to lead the Lions to the win.

Chilton was led by Olivia Hoerl, who scored 24 points and went over 1,000 points in her career.

FOX CITIES STARS 4, WARBIRDS 0

FOX CROSSING - The Stars scored four goals in the second period in the victory over the Warbirds.

McKayla Zilisch, Peyton Hewitt, Ella Flattum and Parker Beyer scored goals for the Stars. Zilisch, Beyer, Talia Bellotti, Lily Schmear and Gwen Gillard had assists.

Ella Sciborski made 21 saves in goal for Fox Cities. Hailee Scheier had 30 saves for the Warbirds.

BOYS HOCKEY

NEENAH/HORTONVILLE/MENASHA 7, ST. MARY’S SPRINGS 5

GRAND CHUTE - The Rockets scored three unanswered goals in the third period to rally from a 5-4 deficit for the win over the Ledgers.

Trailing 5-4 after two periods, Thomas Burns tied the game for NHM on a power play. John Kriz scored the go-ahead goal at 14:12 of the period with Luke Sutton scoring an insurance goal at 16:43.

Sutton also scored a goal in the first perid and one in the second period. Other NHM goals were scored by Beckett Davidson and Kriz.

Josh Austin scored twice for St. Mary’s Springs, while Finn Buelow, Jonathan Korb and Talan Blanck scored the Ledgers’ other goals.

Kriz and Burns had two assists for NHM.

Jaeden Hannus had 26 saves for Neenah/Hortonville/Menasha. Hayden Rising had 25 saves for St. Mary’s Springs.
