Troopers: Two killed in head-on collision on Interstate 59 in Tuscaloosa County

Two people died in a head-on collision early Sunday morning on Interstate 59 in Tuscaloosa County, according to state troopers.

Chance K. Mizzell, 25, of Woodstock was driving a 2010 Toyota Tacoma and Cameron A. Parks, 24, of Madison was driving a 2018 Mazda 3 at 3:40 a.m. when the crash occurred around.

Mizell and Parks were pronounced dead at the scene of the head-on collision, which was near the 84 mile marker on the interstate, about 2 miles south of the Brookwood city limits.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
